25-04-2011 Ashima is proud to anounce the comebak of the Legandary "Poltergeist" fluorocarbon Stiff Rig material. Advances in technology have provided us with the oppertunity to use the very best raw materials from Japan to produce this top quality fluorocarbon line. To catch wary carp, there is absolutely no better rig than the ultra short stiff  "D" Rig. Poltergeist is spooled in parallel coils on the spool to guarantee flawless quality and is available in 0.40mm 20lbs and 0.45mm 25lbs 25m spools.

10-04-2011 We have just launched our new "Session Sets". The idea behind this set is that it is just enough to fish for one evening. The sets are available in 4 flavours: "Canadian Maple" "Fish Garlic" "Liver & Tuna" and "Cranberry Squid" The tubes contain 4 pots with: 16mm pre-drilled Halibut pellets, 3mm flavoured feed pellets including 3 pop-ups, 17mm boilies and a hemp and Halibut crush stick-Mix. We have also included 2 PVA bags in each tube.

16-03-2011 After a fantastic reception of our new Ground-Hog hooklink, we have decided to produce the line in a thinner 15lbs breaking strain after requests from England. The line will be in the shops before the summer and will cost less than 10.00 Euros per dispensor spool.

20-02-2011 5-Lakes is getting very close now. We have heard that our new "Ground-Hog" rig braid will arrive from the factory on time and will be presented at the show on 5th and 6th of March. Ashima UK be at the show to answer any questions and to meet prospective UK Dealers.

24-01-2011: We are delighted to introduce our new official UK distributor Ashima UK. Ashima UK are just starting out and will be up to speed very soon. Ashima will do everything in their power to help the UK Distributor  re-Launch the Ashima brand into the UK where it was born and has been very succesful in the past. Ashima UK will be at the 5-Lakes carp show on 5th and 6th March to help present the complete Ashima range to the public.

23-01-2011:  The first batch of our new generation snag leader has been dispatched to two shops in Holland and our new UK distributor. Our new "Ground-Hog" rig braid is in production. We will have it ready for 5-Lakes.

13-11-2010: We have been extremely busy with our upcoming new product presentation. Ashima will be announcing 3 new lines for 2011. The first is a shock leader with a breaking strain of 45lbs in 2 colours. The second is a rig braid which is totally unique. The rig braid is the heaviest we have ever seen but it is also the most supple we have ever seen. The third line is a very high quality Fluorcarbon line for making stiff rigs. All three lines are of the highest quality and have unique features. These lines will be a welcome addition to the Ashima familly of top class products.
